The Museum kunst + wissen houses a permanent exhibition on red dyeing. In today’s museum building (built from 1558), Heinrich Hanhart (1784-1854) and Johann Conrad Huber (1788-1871) set up a red dyeing and calico printing company in the mid-19th century.
The Museum kunst + wissen, with its striking stair tower, is also a meeting place for art and culture. Spread over three floors, it offers space for exhibitions and events that alternate between the themes of art, history, culture, nature and general knowledge.
