200 years of textile industry history – the museum brings the turbulent times of industrialisation in the Zurich Oberland back to life. Experience the production of a piece of fabric from start to finish with working historical machines. Adolf Guyer-Zeller’s spinning mill was once in full swing in Neuthal, and today’s visitors can again travel back to the region’s industrial heyday.
The focus in the historic factory building is on water power, spinning, weaving and embroidery. The Neuthal Industrial Culture Association is supported by numerous volunteers who help to preserve the installations and guide visitors through the museum.
